We would consider repairing your radiator as the first option. However, if it is beyond repair, we are likely to recommend rebuilding it with a new core.

Rebuilding a radiator with a tinned core will enhance its life, which is particularly useful when it’s being operated in salt water environments.

If your radiator is an aluminium unit, you may wish to consider replacing it with a copper and brass version. The benefits of this are that the copper and brass radiator can be repaired if it was to be damaged in the future, unlike the aluminium radiator, which is unrepairable. This would be a long-term cost effective solution.
